music & movement, afternoon tea, plus much, much more.

Saturday the 25th Sep 2010 saw the fruition of our much anticipated Harvest Lift Community event, the “Baby and Parent Expo”.  This was thoroughly enjoyed by the parents, children and all our helpers too.  The Jungle theme decor wowed people from the moment they walked through the door, which added to the fun atmosphere. With stations including mini massages, craft, free family photos and also representatives from Community Groups – Toy Library, Playcentre and Plunket, as well as sessions of Music and Movement and Kids Zumba, it was a vibrant party atmosphere. People moved from station to station and connected with each other, and were able to get lots of parental information. The Cafe was amazing with free coffee and delicious cupcakes decorated with jungle animals. Lots of parents from the community attended the fun afternoon and we have had plenty of positive feedback.

Lift is Harvest Christian Church’s ‘loving in action’ people in Papakura, Pukekohe and the greater Counties Manukau area.

At Harvest Christian Church we believe we are blessed to be a blessing.
We freely receive and we freely give because our concerns are for the needs of others, as much as our own.

This year, we are encouraging everyone at Harvest to be a part of Lift.

One good deed might not seem like much, but if everyone at Harvest did something good for someone else, the impact would be massive to our community.
